The Kremlin issued a statement saying that the presidents of the two countries discussed the issue of fighting the epidemic in detail. The two sides also exchanged views on the situation in Syria and expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation to jointly implement the agreement reached by the two countries on the ceasefire in the degraded area of the Syrian Idlib conflict.
Putin and Erdogan also discussed the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, and said that they will continue to conduct dialogues at all levels.
In addition, Putin expressed gratitude to the Turkish side for assisting the return of Russian citizens in Turkey and providing humanitarian assistance to parts of Russia.
